This is an audio clip of Carl Trueman speaking on the Mortification of Spin podcast The Trinity Debate (starting at 14:00 in the podcast).

I would say, look at what is most likely to do harm to people, because that is what you should focus on if you have a choice. What is really hurting people, women who are harmed by men pushing this ideal, as Carl says, of women as ‘chattel’ or women as preachers?

  2. Carl Trueman says he sees a big problem with men who profess Christ using pornography and treating women as objects. What Trueman has observed is confirmed over and over again in the reports we hear from our readers at this blog.

And it’s one of the things I pointed to in my table on The Biblical Middle between Equality, Authority and Differences.
