Awakening the Evangelical Church to Domestic Violence and Abuse in its Midst

The Abuser in the Christmas Story (a re-post)

Dear readers, we hope your Christmas day is or was* very happy, blessed and safe.

On Christmas Day 2014 we published The Abuser in the Christmas Story. Today we’re giving you a link to that post so you can go back and revisit it.

If you want to submit a comment, we’d prefer you do it at the original 2014 post. And by the way, the comments thread at the 2014 post has some really good stuff from our readers, which we trust will bless you.

We want to say thank-you to all of you for helping our blog be a supportive, encouraging and insight-giving place for survivors of abuse.  So many times as I (Barb) am reading your comments, I just want to hug you. And I send up a prayer of thankfulness to God for the things you say to encourage and build one other up, and the way you share your experiences which sparks identification in other readers.

*I’m saying ‘was’ to acknowledge the members of  the ACFJ family (including myself) who are on the other side of the international date line, and have already had Christmas day.

Happy Boxing Day to all Kiwis, Brits, Europeans, Africans, Asians and Aussies!
